Completely In the Dark, 9th January 2023
At the start of a new year we are all in the dark as to what the year holds but last night’s first meeting of the new year being billed as Completely in the Dark came as a very welcome and different sort of club night.
With everyone bringing cameras, tripods, remote release cables etc and Penny and Spike bringing what seemed like a lorry load of lighting equipment and props, the scene was set for a lot of fun and games “in the dark”. Starting off with a bicycle wheel festooned with lights and spinning in the middle of the hall we soon progressed to setting Neil on fire and giving him butterfly wings. This was followed by an excellent impression by Steve L of a really scary wolf surrounded by rainbows and fire then Val with angels wings, a halo and fire again followed by a monk and a devil ably impersonated by Phil.
We all had a great time and a lot of fun and laughter, and hopes were raised of a night outing later in the year when the weather warms up a bit to practise the skills learnt last night.
